Adoption Process
Best Buddy Pet Rescue carefully screens each animal and adopter to ensure the best match, focusing on personality, behavior, and home environment for lasting success. Adopters must be at least 21, have fully vetted curent pets, and be permitted to own animals. Applications are reviewed within about four business days.

Puppies under 6 months:
Not yet fixed: $325 ($25 is refundable upon spay/neuter)
Fixed: $300
Adults: $250 (7 months to 7 years)
Seniors: $175 (8 years and over)
Adoption Fees include:
All of our dogs come with age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test and spay/neuter if over 6 months, and are microchipped. If adopted prior to spay/neute

Adults: $250 (7 months to 7 years)

All of our dogs come with age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test and spay/neuter if over 6 months, and are microchipped. If adopted prior to spay/neuter it is covered and the $25 is refunded when the dog has been altered at our local vet.

Unlike many shelter environments, our kittens are raised in foster homes. This allows us to truly get to know their personalities and behaviors, so we can help match each cat or kitten with the family that best fits their needs—and yours.
